Block Blaster is a grid-based block puzzle game that challenges you to think ahead before placing each piece. It's unblocked and playable in the browser, so you can jump in without any downloads. The goal is straightforward, keep the board clear, but the strategy runs deeper the longer you play.
About Block Blaster
Block Blaster blends the structure of classic block puzzles with increasingly complex grid layouts. You place cube blocks onto an 8x8 grid and clear full rows or columns to stay in the game. What sets it apart is that blocks can't be rotated, which means you have to work with each piece exactly as it appears. The game has a story adventure mode alongside the classic puzzle mode, and it's available on web, Android, and iOS.
How to play Block Blaster
Drag blocks from the selection area and drop them onto the 8x8 grid. When you fill a complete row or column, those blocks are cleared from the board. You lose when none of the remaining blocks can fit on the board. Since blocks can't be rotated, placement decisions are permanent. Think a move or two ahead before dropping each piece to avoid boxing yourself in.
Block Blaster FAQ
Can I play Block Blaster unblocked?
Yes. Block Blaster runs entirely in your browser, so you can play it unblocked at school or work. Just open this page and press play. There is nothing to download, install or sign up for.
Why can't you rotate blocks in Block Blaster?
Block Blaster deliberately removes rotation to increase difficulty. You have to place each block in the orientation it's given, which forces you to plan around fixed shapes rather than adapting them. This adds a layer of strategic pressure that makes the puzzle more demanding over time.
What is the difference between classic mode and adventure mode?
Classic mode is the standard endless puzzle experience where you clear rows and columns to keep playing as long as possible. Adventure mode adds structured levels with specific objectives, giving the game more of a progression arc. Both modes use the same core drag-and-drop mechanics.

Yes. Block Blaster is free to play online, with no download and no account required.
Can I play Block Blaster on mobile or Chromebook?
